Cadets from KLH Aziznagar, a constituent of KL University with a 45+ year legacy, have secured national recognition at the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) National Camp 2026, with L/CPL Srujana Sharma Sadhu receiving the Special Medallion in the Director of Cultural Events category and SGT Caesar Saxena finishing Runner-Up in the Tug of War event. The achievement highlights the growing success of the university's NCC programme and reflects the opportunities being created for students to excel on national platforms at top universities in South India.
The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat National Camp brings together NCC cadets from across the country, promoting leadership, teamwork, cultural exchange, and national integration through a range of competitive and collaborative activities.
The recognition adds to the achievements of the NCC unit at KLH Aziznagar, which was established in 2023 under 1 (T) Battalion NCC, Hyderabad Group of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate. Since its inception, the unit has steadily expanded student participation in national-level training camps, adventure activities, and leadership programmes.
In 2025, the campus celebrated another milestone when its first batch of NCC cadets successfully earned their 'B' Certificates, with 28 students qualifying in the examination. Cadets have also participated in Annual Training Camps, the Army Attachment Camp with the Dogra Regiment of the Indian Army, the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp, and adventure programmes including the Jeeps Parasailing Camp at the Secunderabad Parade Ground.
The NCC unit further strengthened its record in 2026 with the selection of campus cadets for the prestigious Republic Day Parade, underscoring its continued focus on discipline, leadership development, and national-level participation.
The latest honours earned by L/CPL Srujana Sharma Sadhu and SGT Caesar Saxena add to the growing list of achievements by KLUniversity’s NCC cadets, reflecting the university's commitment to nurturing leadership, teamwork, and holistic student development beyond the classroom.
